RHS Harlow Carr, 7:30pm
These events have taken place.
Shakespeare’s most farcical of comedies meets the nation’s most slapstick of theatre troupes for some truly thespian frolics. Harrogate’s perennial favourite theatre company Oddsocks are back.
A servant and master from far off Syracuse arrive in Ephesus in search of their long-lost twin brothers. In no time at all they are trapped in a terrifying chain of chaotic events. Tormented by a wild wife, a moody mistress, challenged by a crazy jeweller and damned by a demonic doctor the terrified twosome run headlong into a climactic happy ending which defies all probability.
Pack a picnic to the delightful Harlow Carr gardens for music and mayhem for a summer Turkish delight not to be missed. It would be a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions to miss it!
Please spare the time to watch the below video explaining Oddsock’s current campaign to help give a young actor a chance to enter the industry.
